Kathirikai chutney / Brinjal chutney


Ingredients

Kathirikai  / Brinjal -  5 medium sized
Small Onion  -  half cup
Dry Red chilly -  3.

Steps

Fry each item separately

Grind with salt as per taste

Tempering

Heat kadai with  1 tbspn of oil
Drop mustard  ,  1 tspn of ur address dhal
Add curry Leaves and a pinch of hing /asofoetida.

Pour the grinded Kathirikai chutney to the kadai..  Let this boil for 2 mins.
Add water as per your wish for consistency. I like thicky so I dint add much water.

Serve it with hot dosa / idly.. :)
