• Pudhina leaves – 1 bowl
• Coconut – 2 or 3 table spoons / as per your taste. (optional)
• Varamilagai / Dried red chilly – 5 / as per your taste
• Salt – as per your taste
• Tamarind – Small amt.
• Oil – 1 spoon
• Mustard , Black gram dhal , Asafoetida.
Method :
• Heat pan with oil , drop Mustard , Black gram dhal (ulutham parupu ) , Asafoetida (Perungaya thool).
• Then drop the red chillies , tamarind, 1 garlic ( oru pallu vellai poondu) . Let these be cooked for few seconds.
• To that drop our washed mint leaves and coconut (opt) , heat this mixture till our mint leaves are shirnked well.
Grind this mixture with salt as per your taste.
Note : While Grinding the chutney , do keep on tasting in between so that you can adjust the salt , tamarind and chilli.
If suppose you found that you added too much of chillies and its tooo hot , just add some more coconut to your chutney and grind it :)
