வெந்தய கீரை சப்பாத்தி / Vendhaya keerai chappathi

This was an accidental dish actually.. I prepared this dish to save my dad from mom's scoldings ;) .. cos he bought this 4 packets instead of 2 ... :D Sooo What happens next.. Yup i was searching my best friend "Google" for a different recipe with vendhaya keerai and then i landed into a cooking blog with a recipe called " methi chappathi " . I made certain changes in that dish which added more flavor to it. Try this soft vendhaya keera chappathi for sure and have a healthy life :) Happy Cooking friends !!


Ingredients

Vendhaya keerai - 2 small cups.
Wheat flour - 2 cups
Red chillies - 2
Garlic cloves - 3
Chilly powder - 1/2 spn
Coriander powder - 1/2 spn (optional)
Turmeric - 2 fat pinch
Milk - 2 tbspn
Curd - 1 tbspn
Salt to taste
Oil - 3 tbspn.
Water ( as per your requirement )

Method 

Heat a pan with 1 tspn of oil 
Fry vendhaya keerai , garlic cloves and red chillies for 1 min.

Grind this as paste ( without water )

Take a bowl 
Mix all ingredients with Salt.

Add Vendhaya keerai paste to it.

Mix well and make chappathi dough.
Using this make vendhaya keerai chappathi as we normally prepare chappathi.

Serve hot with coconut chutney or Raitha.
